to the Santa Cruz Sufi Community social networking website. Please feel free to comment on how we can improve the connectedness and communication within our community in the Forums section of the site. I first learned about ning from the Canyonlands Dance folks (see cavedances.ning.com) where I met with the site creator. Then Anwar and I met with the creator of springcamp.ning.com at the Ozark Sufi Camp in May 2008.

We brought the idea back to local leaders who decided to move forward with developing our own site. It is important (at least to me) to give everyone in our community a place for their voice to be heard, for everyone to know that they are heard, and for everyone to have the opportunity to feel that they belong to this community. My hope is that you will use this site to those ends. Enjoy!!
